When I awake every morning, I
have my daily routine. After using the bathroom, I search the fridge for
anything eatable and make a coffee before I start to study or go in the
university. Most of the time, I'm in hurry. But today, I have taken time to
really think about impacts of daily consume of caffeinated coffee. It can't be
healthy, I thought, and so I started to question myself, which influences it could actually have on the body and the mind.
No other
topic will be that discussed in the science. For some of us caffeinated coffee
could be healthy in contrast to other ones. Scientists found out, that this depends on the genetic type a
person possesses. If you have tough luck and you own a special sort of the gen
CYP1A2, it can increase the risk of heart attacks whereas the same can happen
with Parkinson with a special type of the gen GRIN2A. Although, these effects aren't the only one's genetic variation could increase. Also more disrupted
sleep patterns, worsening of PMS symptoms, increase of blood pressure and higher
risk of miscarriage could occur.
But in some cases the opposite can set in, special gen types can even have a positive impact and can lead to an increase in athletic skills and mental perfomance, prevent from premature mortality, cardiovascular disease and possibly reduce the risk of getting cancer, neurodegenerative diseases and Type 2 Diabetes.

So, opinions, whether affects are positive or negative, differ a lot. Because of that you should keep in mind to take caffeinated coffee
with a pinch of salt.
